Our Story

"No matter how much the world is digitized, stationery will never be replaced. Typing/writing on digital devices might be a trend but writing on paper can never be replaced. This belief lead to the creation of Ikksha - a brand that creates environmentally sustainable stationery.

Going Green!

We at Ikksha are here to tell you that your little moral changes can contribute to making an excellent and practical planet.

Our writing materials are made from BANANA Fibre!

/Ik - (s)ha /

Meaning : Sight      |      Origin : Sanskrit

At Ikksha we create environmentally sustainable luxury stationery. It is based on the idea of going green and giving back to society by creating eco-friendly journals.

Believe it or not, you can be kind to the planet by simply making a switch to eco-friendly products without much effort at all. Embracing a greener way to deal with life doesn't need to be troublesome and we at Ikksha are here to assist you with that.

Go Bananas!

Over a 100 billion bananas are eaten around the world yearly. But did you know that after harvesting the world's most popular fruit, farmers have to cut the banana tree to allow a new plant to grow?
Now imagine instead of throwing these cut plants, you could make paper and fabric with these stems. We did just that! We at Ikksha decided to make our journals with these banana fibres - from cover to paper.

Our Values

We offer complimentary customization

You can now get your Ikksha journal personalized with your name, a quote, a message to your loved one or anything that will make the journal feel yours.

Why should you journal?

“When you write down your ideas you automatically focus your full attention on them. Few if any of us can write one thought and think another at the same time. Thus a pencil and paper make excellent concentration tools.” Michael Leboeuf

One of our aims is to get people back to the lost art of writing on paper. Writing is not difficult and it does not have to made difficult. The benefits are numerous and when there is something pretty to write on, the motivation comes naturally.

Always remember, the pen is mightier than the sword.
